Boronia megastigma or brown Boronia is a conifer plant that grows in Western Australia. There are several variances of Boronia. There is a sort with vivid pink colored flowers that looks very decorative. In the perfume industry the most important variance is brown Boronia, which is not so decorative. Concrete and absolute are produced by enfleurage, or steam distillation. Concrete appears to be a dark green butter-like product, that possesses a pleasant, warm, woodsy-sweet odor. Absolute is green dense liquid with fresh fruity-spicy aroma with floral nuance.
